I’m not an expert about blogging, but I have some experience and I think that I can give you a few tricks that I have learned about taking photo shots for your fashion outfits. So today I’m going to talk about a few things that I think that really make the change.
CAMERA
It’s not necessary to have the best camera ever, sometimes that’s enough with a mobile phone with a good quality camera. To take photos with your phone is a good way, but if you want more professional photos better go for a good camera and this will make a huge improvement on your photos.
LIGHT
Please, always take photos with natural light. If you take photos with artificial light the quality of the photo will decrease and adding a lot of light with a photo editor will look too fake. So, if you don’t have a professional studio, always go for the natural light. You’ll have quality photos instantly! So my best advice here is to wait for the sun to come down or try to go to a shady area.
PREPARE THE SCENE
When I have to do a photo shooting I have all prepared. I know exactly what I’m going to wear, where I want to take the pictures, how I want the pictures to be… So take your time before the photo shoot and think about all these details. I promise that doing this is super worthy!
CONFIDENCE
This is maybe the worst part of the job for me. You really need to have confidence with your photographer. I’ve noticed this because I have a few people that take my photos, and I know who I feel freer with, and obviously the pics look better and more natural.
POSE & PERFECT SHOT
Everyone have to find their best pose You have to look good, obviously, your pose is premeditated, but it has to look natural at the same time. So the best advice that I can give you is to take tonnes of pictures and then choose the best ones. Just try random poses!
KNOW HOW YOU LOOK LIKE
You can study yourself in the from of the mirror as well to look for your best angle. You have to know how you look like and what to stand out. For example, I always think that my eyes look pretty small, so I use to wear gorgeous sunglasses because I think that they’re the best accessory a human can wear. And then another trick that I sometimes use is to stand on my tiptoes to look taller and at the same time cross one leg in front of the other to look more fit.
EDITING
Don’t overdo editing. I hate that and I think that I’m not the only one. What I use to do is only to retouch a little bit the exposure and the temperature. Nothing else! I prefer a natural clean photo tan a super filtered one.
