I remember that since I was a teenager I wanted to own those super famous Balenciaga boots all it girls were wearing. Obviously, the combination of black and gold drove me crazy. I loved how stylish they looked and how versatile those boots were. I saw girls wearing them with a gothic looking style, other with a more romantic one… It looked like you could wear them with whatever you wanted to.
Since I’m not a person who likes to spend those huge amounts of money on just a pair of shoes I spent years looking for a cool dupe. There are too many of them but there are just a few that I actually liked. The most viable option for me was the Jeffrey Campbell ones that are about $200, but I decided to keep looking.
A couple of weeks ago, while checking out a new fashion brand that I discovered called Hidden Fashion I found the perfect pair of boots. They had a bit of platform, but also a bit of a heel which I always appreciate because I’m a bit short. They’re also black with gold details and those super cool cutouts that the original Balenciaga ones have too. I found the perfect pair of boots.
Today I wanted to share with you how I styled them. The outfit is super casual and simple, but I actually love it. I wore this brown bodysuit I really like, and white shorts. Then, my accessories were gold and nude to match the color palette of the outfit. Also, my brand new watch from Elie Beaumont matched perfectly with the outfit.
