MORE HAIR ACCESSORIES, PLEASE

Those of you who have been around here for a while must know that for me the most important thing from an outfit is accessories. Accessories can definitely make an outfit a thousand times better with almost no effort at all. I tend to wear really basic clothes, usually in neutral tones, and then I add nice accessories, such as shoes, bags and, especially, gold jewellery.

Since hair accessories have become so popular recently, I’ve been really into incorporating those as well to my outfits. I remember seeing Versace with those sleek back looks and then when they added hair clips I was so excited. Those gold pieces looked absolutely amazing and I think that is a great way to accessorize while keeping it functional.

After that show, I really wanted to recreate those looks so I made my own har¡ir accessories with bobby pins and pearls. Handcrafted, yes. I shared the pieces I made on Instagram and I still remember how many replies I got, because they actually looked pretty cool. But then, I started seeing people going crazy with hair clips. Bigger, bolder, and even wearing their head full of them. A lot of new designs came out and that’s when the trend became even bigger.

Because of how much I loved the idea and all those new designs I decided to get some of them. I found a really nice selection, and really affordable too, on a website called CloudMall, so I decided to get a few of them. I got the typical big pearl clip, then a gold one, and then a pearl bobby pin.

Wearing the three of them looks so cool and trendy, but depending on the occasion might be too much. But, these hair accessories also look amazing on their own, so it’s really easy to style them.

What do you think about this trend? Do you like the ones I got? Definitely tell me so in the comments down below and I’ll be glad to read!

Love and lipstick ❤

    • There’s no need to go for the big hair clips, you can start trying with small embellished bobby pins!
