THE DECORATION OF MY DREAMS

My home decoration goal is to turn my house into an art gallery. I’ve had this in my mind for such a long time and I’m slowly doing changes and buying new pieces that will make my house have that beautiful french museum vibe that I love so much.

If you don’t know it yet, I spend so many time on Pinterest every day, since that’s my number one source for inspiration. And guess what? My “Future House Moddboard” is the biggest board I have in there (you can have a look if you want to). I collect all kind of photos that I would like my future house to look like, or just to get a general idea of how to place the furniture, which colours to use, which decoration items to pick, etc.

I have to say that I’m not doing that bad so far, and that someday I’ll do a proper blog post talking about how I decorated my space, to show you how it looks like, and where are all the items from. But, for now, I’m still working on it, so all you’ll see is the process of how do I decorate it to get to that dream house of mine.

I would say that one of the most noticeable and easiest ways to decorate your house and instantly change the look and vibe of it is wall art, which is also one of the main things of an art gallery. I recently got some new prints from Desenio, which is a really affordable online shop that sells such a wide range of posters and frames. There are many styles and designs, but after so long browsing on their site and checking my Pinterest board, I finally chose my favourites.

I still don’t know very well how I’m going to place them since I’m constantly moving them around, mixing and matching different posters and frames, until I like how it looks like. Also, I do have some more already on the walls I got from their site as well about a year ago. But, these ones I got will probably stay on the table or shelves of my room, right next to some nice looking decoration pieces, books or candles.

Do you like the new decoration pieces I got? Do you have any Desenio posters at home? Definitely tell me so in the comments down below and I’ll be glad to read!

  1. Gawwwwwwww that head planter bowl. Its amazing. I love interior design and I have so many home pinds. I actually follorw a ton of swoonworthy home stylists on insta. I dont know if you would like to or not but a couple of great accounts popped into my head when you were describing your style. @Diana_voiculescu and @cocollected. cocollected has brought alot of pattern into her stuff, but her older stuff is white with tonal neutrals mixed in. Scroll down her page and youll see it. Lots of sculpture and art. Love how you styled your nook and I cant wait to see more!

    • I got this head planter bowl not that long ago from H&M home, so I’m pretty sure it’s still available. And thank you for the recommendations girl!

    • I really like them because they have quite artsy but simple prints, and the frames are quite cheap but nice quality!
