BEHIND THE SCENES

A new week is here and I couldn’t be more excited because I’ve passed all my uni exams and that means that I’ve basically finished my second year! You know how much I’ve struggled lately to keep studying and working on the blog at the same time, and that’s the reason why I’ve been posting a bit less than usual, but I’m so happy to see that hard work pays off, because it always does!

Today, taking advantage of the fact that I’m sharing a bit more about my personal life as a student, I wanted to show you a bit more about how blogging is like in real life, especially during photo shoots. Maybe people think that one day I randomly decide to take photos and that’s it, but no, it actually involves a lot of planning and organization.

Every time I want to take a photo shoot I do at least 2 or 3 outfits, so this way all the process is much more efficient. Because of that, I always plan my outfits in advance, I decide the locations, I rehearse the changes (because sometimes you have to do it in the location itself and you don’t really want to show anything you shouldn’t), and also be careful to fold your clothes the right way to make them fit inside the bag. So, as you can see, it’s actually a tricky process that takes a lot of time and organization if you want it to work the best way possible.

Below I leave a couple shots that were taken by a friend, where you can see the mess I do at every single photoshoot, with a lot of clothes, the camera equipment, water (so important), and other things. I’m sure you can recognise the outfit I’m wearing from a pretty recent blog post I shared not so long ago.

Did you expect photoshoots to be like this? Do you like these bts/more personal blog posts? Definitely tell me so in the comments down below and I’ll be glad to read!

  5. You are absolutely right! Blogging photos aren’t as easy as it looks and it can be really frustrating especially when you have everything down except you’ve got a 5 year old yelling and screaming he is bored or running away! I so feel your pain and one of these days I am sure I will be better about shooting more outfits at once but in my circumstance, I am happy if I can successfully complete one!
