A SELF-LOVE REMINDER

A year ago I wrote the blog post I’m the proudest of, and that I’ll never get tired of reading over and over again. It was a brief but deep reminder about the importance of self-love (you can read it here), and many of you seemed to really like what wrote. Actually, I think it’s been the best performing post I’ve ever shared here on the blog.

There’s a day left for Valentine’s Day and everybody seems to be really focused on it, or at least that’s why many advertisers and brands try us to do. It feels like if you have a special someone you have to buy them something and plan a special day and, if you don’t have anyone special, it’s just not your day so good luck being on your own. They’re so wrong.

I have a special someone, but neither of us looks forward a gift or crazy special plan since love it’s not a one-day thing, but every single day we are together. And, no matter if you have a partner or not, you should also celebrate self-love every single day, since it is the most important thing about life, and what will actually give you the confidence to become who you want to be and achieve all your goals. Take time for yourself, pamper yourself, treat yourself, love yourself, because that’s the only thing you are guaranteed to have for your whole life, so you better treat it like a treasure.
