COFFEE TALK AND UPDATES

Morning everyone!

I’m not going to lie, I lack so much inspiration lately. Spending time home is a great thing to not be in such a hurry and spend time on thing you really want to do and care about but, as a side effect of barely (or not at all) going out, I end up lacking all kinds of inspiration even though I have loads of time to do things. It is really frustrating that I want to take advantage of so much time and get to create new and exciting content for you to spend these quarantine days a bit more entertained, so I decided to take a few days off (that’s why I haven’t posted much the last few days) and rethink about which content I really want to share with you these upcoming days while quarantined.

As I always say and recommend you all, don’t post things just for the sake of posting something. Make sure you post content you’re genuinely proud of and that you’re excited to share. I know that the fact of being at home is no excuse to not create content because as many people have shown, you can create amazing things from home as well.

Which is my plan for the upcoming days? 

There are a few things coming up both on the blog and on Instagram.

I’ll do a weekly Q&A on Instagram (@thegoldlipstick) so we can all chat a bit more about whatever topic you want me to talk about. This way my stories will be a bit more interactive and entertaining, and we can also get to know each other a bit more.

There might be styling videos coming up. Yes, I know that’s a big stop which I’m still thinking about since I’m not sure if I would only do it as an IGTV format or also YouTube so I can post it here on the blog too. The idea is to create short videos about how to style an item or a certain trend in a few different ways.

I’m going to write a birt more personal or just “chatty” blog posts since I’m not up to anything interesting and I can’t shoot many full outfits at the moment. Also, I think it’s the right time to be a bit more open and talk about how everything is going so we can all discuss it and support each other with tips and advice during the quarantine.

Last but not least, I’m doing a new round of interviews to amazing content creators which I’ll be sharing here on the blog soon. The interviews will be about how they create content and also what are they doing these days to stay creative while being at home. I think it can be a really inspiring section here on the blog and that’s why I’m so excited to share it with you.

So these are all the new things that are about to come up on the blog. I really felt like I needed to take a few days off to rethink about which content I want to share with you here on the blog and on Instagram these upcoming days so you can be both entertained and inspired.
