It’s been so long since I wanted to write the ultimate recommendation guide for hair, skin and body care, but I wanted to make sure I was choosing the right products that I genuinely love and which I’ve been using for such a long time because they really work for me. Finally, I’ve narrowed the list and I chose my favourites for each category.
I think it’s a great time to share my recommendations due to the fact that we all have a bit more of time and we have no other choice than to stay at home, so we can pay more attention and really work on pampering ourselves.
Of course, as I always say, these are products that I’ve been using for such a long time and that has worked wonders for me, but that does not mean that they will all work perfectly on you too. Every person is a world and not everything works on ourselves the same way, so that’s why it is such an interesting thing because all you can do is to try and see if it’s the right one for you or to say “thank you, next” and go for another one.
Also, I’d like to say that I’ve previously worked with some of the brands I’m going to mention, but that does not mean that this post is sponsored by them in any way. Because it is not. I’m really happy that through collaborations I got to discover such great brands, or that I got to work with some of them after years of using their products.
Since the original post was too long, I asked you on Instagram if you preferred it to be separated in three different parts (hair, skin and body care) and you seemed to agree with it.
Today is haircare time!
Hair is something we have to take a lot of care of since it’s something which is not “alive”, which means that if it gets damaged you can’t reverse it but just temporarily make it look better. There is NO magic product that can prepare your hair, but make it look a bit healthier. That’s why taking proper care of it continuously is key to keep it all healthy and looking beautiful.
MY FAVOURITES
Apple stem cells mask – Beauté Mediterranea
Honestly, my favourite hair mask. You’re supposed to use it when your hair is wet and leave it for about 5 to 15 minutes but, to be honest, I leave it for about 3 minutes while I’m having a shower and works wonders anyway. My hair feels so soft and healthy!
Quick hair treatment – Löwengrip
For those days when I’m in a bit of a rush but I want my hair to look fine and healthy. I use it after shampoo and leave it for about 2 minutes and my hair feels quite soft and shiny. It’s not as “powerful” as the previous mask mentioned, but it’s definitely something you can use more regularly, like if it was a hair conditioner.
Hydrating treatment oil – Sukin
Such a rich oil (recommended to pretty dry hair types) to deeply moisturise. I have really fine hair so I have more than enough with a couple drops. I use this oil once in a while after showering and I apply it to the tips of my hair. Once my hair air dries, it looks so healthy and shiny and I love it.
So these are my top recommendations to when it comes to haircare. Soon I’ll be sharing my favourite products for skin and body care.
Do you have any recommendations? Have you used any of the mentioned products? Definitely tell me so in the comments down below and I’ll be glad to read!
