MORNINGS IN BARCELONA

You already know how much I love my city. I love those days when I wake up (surprisingly) early and I go to downtown to have breakfast. When I’m done with that, I love to take a long walk when there’s basically nobody on the streets because they’re all still waking up.

If you ever come to Barcelona, don’t be just a tourist walking around with a guide or a map. Just get lost on the old streets from the old part of the city. Act like a native person from Barcelona and go to a café to drink a hot chocolate with cream and a croissant, or a cappuccino if you’re like me. Then, walk around the curved and irregular streets and discover all the small and beautiful shops, and also great artists that like to paint everything they see.

Have you ever been to Barcelona? If not, would you like to? Definitely tell me so in the comments down below and I’ll be glad to read!

  1. I’ve been traveling around Europe as an exchange student for the past couple of months and I must say that Barcelona has always been at the top of my list of the places I wanted to go to. But it’s sad I have to go back to my country in Asia soon. I’m definitely coming back and visit Barcelona! What’s the best season to go there btw? 🙂

    • Barcelona has a very nice weather all year around (very sunny). It depends if you want to enjoy a very sunny summer, or a temperate winter. I’m sure you’re going to love it!

  2. I went to Barcelona about a year ago and loved it! I heard the same advice that you gave about getting lost in the city, and it made all the difference. There was so much more to see than just the typical tourist spots, and being able to interact with the locals. It was an absolute dream!

    • I’m so happy you loved it so much. I always try to do the same thing when I travel to other countries and cities. Obviously, there are some places you must see as every other tourist, but getting lost is definitely my favorite activity!
