This is definitely not a regular post here on my blog, there’s no fashion, or beauty or any fancy content, just my true and deep thoughts. I really want to share my experience about yesterday, 8th of May, and share with you my opinion about all this feminism thing.
Yesterday I felt so proud of being a woman, to go out with many other women, and claim my rights of equality. I’ve also been so inspired by strong, powerful and bossy women, and I’ve always wanted to become one of them. As I grow up, I realize that we can be capable enough to get whatever we want if we really work for it, but sometimes there are some factors that stop us for no reason.
I think that we should be true to ourselves and express ourselves, because that can unintentionally be a huge inspiration for other women who feel threatened or afraid because of the society. Also, I want to say that we shouldn’t tear people down just because we’re jealous of their work or lifestyle, because that’s so easy nowadays to say gross things anonymously on the internet. But we should all support ourselves, push our boundaries and celebrate our reached goals.
Last but not least, I wanted to recommend you a documentary I recently found on Netflix about Gloria Allred, a woman that I really admire. I really liked it!
