I’ve been wearing animal print for years because I love it. These past years it’s been crazy how popular animal prints have become. I feel that, with every year that goes by, fashion gets more and more into animal prints. I actually love how many options there are now on the fashion market, since affordable shops to more expensive brands.

The first animal printed item I got was a zebra printed skirt from my mother when she was young. You’ve seen that skirt several times here on the blog because I love it so much. So easy to style because it’s black and white, but also such a cool staple piece to own.

But, the first animal printed I ever got by myself was a faux fur leopard coat. This one has been styled several times here on the blog too, because I love it so much, and I still love it.

To be honest, I got this coat when that animal print fever was not a huge thing. You saw barely nobody styling this kind of pieces, so it was kind of a rare thing. Because of that, I felt afraid to style it on public. I only wore that coat to fancy events, but I never dared to wear it like on my everyday life outfits. Because that was too much for that time.

So that made me think that not everybody dares to style this new and huge trend that is going right now. That’s why today I wanted to share with you a way to wear this season for those of you who are afraid to wear it, or don’t want to be that bold.

How to style it? There are many ways to do it. The easiest ones are to add animal printed accessories to your looks. My favorite choice is definitely scarves. You can add scarves to your bags or tied around your neck. But, if that’s not your style, you can go for a cute bag, shoes or even earrings. That’s always a great choice.

How I styled it? I wanted to go a bit further than just accessories, but not too bold like wearing a printed coat. I chose to wear a leopard printed dress I recently got from Ikrush under a sweater dress. The idea is to show a bit of print under the sweater. Looks stylish but not too bold.

How I accessorized the outfit? I decided to wear black suede ankle boots, a belt around the waist, a cute black bag with gold details, and last but not least a camel baker boy hat. All these black, camel and gold tones compliment the leopard print to perfection because of its color palette.

What do you think about this outfit? How would you style animal print? Definitely tell me so in the comments down below and I’ll be glad to read!
