Then it comes to basic pieces I’m really picky. I’ve been working on a really curated and smart wardrobe, with essential pieces and then the seasonal trends. For me to have the right basics is a must. I have to find the items that I’ll be able to wear from one year to another without going out of style, and that will be the base of all my outfits. These are the timeless clothing items I’m always looking for. I have a really strict idea on my mind of how I want it to be, and I don’t stop looking for it until I finally found exactly what I was looking for.

I would dare today that I’ve been about two years looking for the perfect trench coat. I know that there are so many out there but those weren’t what I was looking for. I wanted a specific shape, a specific fit, a color, a fabric, etc. I had a really clear idea of what I wanted and I didn’t stop until I finally found it.

I’m actually surprised that I found my dream trench coat in an online shop. Because I’m really picky I don’t like to get those timeless and basic pieces through the web because I feel you never know exactly which color it’s going to be, the fabric, or the fit. But, surprisingly, this time I nailed it.

I found my dream trench coat at MissyEmpire, an online shop that I love so much, and now even more. I actually got a large size because the other ones were out of stock, but I assure you that is the fit I was looking for. It has the perfect shape, and the most beautiful tan color. It also looks really good quality and it’s a really well-done piece. You can really tell how obsessed I am with it.

The problem is that these days it’s cold here in Barcelona, so I can wear it as much as I would. But, I know that once the sun appears again, I will be wearing this trench over and over again every single year, because a trench coat like this one will never go out of style, and you can basically wear it with whatever you want.

This time I decided to wear a really comfy and basic look. I decided to wear a black turtleneck and black jeans, and then my beloved chunky sneakers. To accessorize, some gold jewelry as always, a cute bag, and sunglasses.
