Those who have been following this blog for a while already know how much of a fan I am of skincare. I love trying and discovering new brands and products, and with time I’ve created a routine that I religiously follow.
I remember that I started worrying about my skin when I got acne as a teenager. That’s when I started looking for products that could make my skin look better and smoother, but I have to admit that was so boring and tedious. Every day I had to remember about doing the routine, no matter if I was too tired or lazy to do it. I was just not excited about skincare, so I didn’t take it very seriously (to be honest), and that’s one of the reasons why I had to deal with acne for such a long time.
But, I have to say that with time I’ve changed my mind. I’ve learned that taking it seriously has its benefits, and now I have so much fun with it. Skincare is meant to be a fun time rather than a boring obligation. You just have to get playful with products, have a nice and relaxing time and, last but not least, pamper yourself. That’s what it is all about.
I recently received the Holi collection by Rituals, a skincare brand I’ve known and used since I’m a little kid and my mum bought their products. The aim behind this collection is to have fun and play while pampering yourself, with a few products that are so colourful and smell like heaven. As soon as I smelled these products, I knew I had to try them, so that’s what I did. I’ve used the shower foam and gel so far, and they’re so gentle with my skin (because sometimes it gets a bit irritated with chemical products) and made me smell like fruits and flowers all day.
