WHAT A YEAR

I think I’ve never been more honest here on the blog, than exactly a year ago. I wrote the most honest and straight-from-heart post I think I’ll ever share. And the thing is that it wasn’t really for you to read, but for me to remember that things happen, and things can also change if you are willing to.

I finished 2018 defeated, broken, and empty. It’s a really hard thing to share online, since it’s really personal and it’s definitely not the image I want to show the world. 2018 made me go through many things I hated and that I would never wish to anyone. But, now that I look back, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Thanks to that year, this one has been the best of my life so far. I have no doubt. It took me a while to get myself together, but I did, because everyone can. I had my ups and downs, but I never let anything let me down or made me question myself. My goal for this year was to grow, not only professionally but personally. And I did.

This 2019 I’ve grown as a person. I’ve done what I wanted to, I’ve had loads of fun, I’ve gone crazy, I’ve spent more time than ever with my loved ones, I’ve met amazing people, I’ve improved in everything I wanted to, I’ve taken as much time as I needed for myself, and many things more. All of this, and all the things I learned the previous year, made me become who I always wanted to be.

You’ll never know how life will turn out. I really believe that it’s all about being in the right place at the right time, and that everything happens for a reason. And thanks to all of this I met someone who turned my life upside down in the best way you could ever imagine.

I couldn’t be happier with the amazing year I had, and I can’t wait to start a new decade and try to have an even better year. Because you can always improve if you’re willing to work hard, have fun, and be happy.
