CHOOSING THE RIGHT TIMELESS PIECES

Because I’m a work in process and I’m constantly changing and evolving to become the person I always wanted to be, and so my image, taste and what I wear can change throughout the time too. But, what I’ve realised, is that there are certain pieces that will stick with you no matter how much you change. Those timeless pieces will suit you no matter at what stage of life or personality you’re at, so it’s important to choose them wisely and make sure you invest in something that has nice quality, a simple design, and that will last for a long time.

That’s one of the main reasons why I prefer spending my money on items I know are worth the money I’m paying, since I know that I’ll be able to wear them for years. For example, it is a necessity to invest in good cotton t-shirts and shirts, since there are many different ways to style them and they’re basic pieces that you easily wear on repeat no matter your personal style. Also, I would say investing in a nice coat, blazer, trainers or boots can also be a really good choice, always making sure you go for classic styles and neutral colours.

Once you have all your basic clothing sorted out, it’s time for the accessories. I know that accessories should be the main focus or embellishments of an outfit, so they need to be a bit bolder and eye-catching. But, that does not mean that a piece like that can’t be timeless at the same time. You already know how much I love gold jewellery, so I always go for dainty simple pieces that I layer in order to make more obvious, but that I can easily mix and match depending on the occasion and style I’m going for. The same happens with hats, they can make a huge difference in an outfit, but you can find styles that never go out of style, such as fedora hats in black and neutral shades. And, last but not least, there are pretty unique bags that can also be worn for years if you look for a classic style that is easy to style.

My newest addition to my wardrobe has been the cutest bag I’ve ever seen, from a brand called Wanderer Wanderer. First of all, I have to mention that they use vegan leather for all their products, which is something I really appreciate from brands. Also, they focus on a few products to offer the best quality in every single one of them. I decided to get one of their pretty bags in the perfect nude shade, since I thought that the simple but unique design and the neutral colour was a perfect choice.

Honestly, I get SO many compliments from family, friends and even strangers every time I wear this bag. It has such a beautiful shape that makes it so different but, at the same time, the nude colour makes it classy and not that bold.

Last time I decided to style it with a new jumper I got on sale that is basically the same colour as the bag, black and white houndstooth trousers, comfy white trainers, and a grey coat. Then, as usual, gold jewellery, that matched perfectly the gold details of the bag. Definitely such an easy, classy and cute outfit.
