Morning lovelies!
Since many of us are currently working from home, I thought it would be a good idea to share with you some of my top tips to be more efficient and get more work done in less time and with fewer headaches. These are all tips I personally follow and that really help me, and I hope these can help you too.
1. Clean and organised space:
It is a must to keep your working space clean and organised. This way it’ll be more inviting for you to work hard, be inspired and get work done.
2. Get ready:
Pretend you’re going to the office. Wake up, get dressed and get ready as if you were going out. I know we all love our pyjamas but believe me that this really helps you to mentally prepare for work.
3. Create a routine:
Wake up early, have a timetable, schedule your day with all the things you have to do, and also set daily goals. This will really help you to avoid ending up on the sofa all day thinking you have nothing to do and being frustrated about me. It feels so good going to sleep at night thinking about all the things you did in the day.
4. Have a working space:
Differentiate where you work and where you have free time.
5. Get some natural light and fresh air:
It is a must to have a daily dose of Vitamin D which you can get from natural sunlight. Also, make sure you open the windows so new fresh air gets in.
5. Interact with people:
Chat with people. We live in a connected world where there are many ways to get in touch with people (i.e. Skype, FaceTime, Instagram Calls, and many more).
6. Move and exercise:
It is so important to not be in front of a laptop for too long, so make sure you stand up and take little breaks once in a while.
7. Learn to switch off:
Spend some time away from social media and screens. This way you’ll prevent headaches and it’s a great way to switch off from the news and all the craziness of the internet.
So these have been the few basic tips that really help me and made me go through two weeks of lockdown so far. I hope these can help you these days and I’m sure this will eventually come to an end and we’ll be able to go out and about. But, for now, stay home and safe.
Do you have any other tip? Did any of these help you? Definitely tell me so in the comments down below and I’ll be glad to read!
