Due to the amazing feedback I’m getting from all of you and the several requests on more personal and daily life, I’m doing to do it. I think it’s important to present myself as someone real, who is going through the same thing that the whole world is, which is quarantine and the coronavirus pandemic. This is the moment to support, no matter is we do know or not each other. So we can just build a little community here to share how we feel and what we think about this situation.
How’s my life going? Well, it’s been four weeks of isolation now, a month. That’s pretty quick to say but definitely not to go through. I’ve kept myself bust with many uni projects (it’s crazy the amount of work we’ve been given), a lot of baking (I shared a post with all my favourite recipes here), watching Netflix, and constantly calling my friends and loved ones via Skype, FaceTime and other platforms.
I’m not going to lie and say it’s been all good so far because it’s not true. I guess that, like everyone else, I have my ups and downs, and that some days I feel like this is all too much and that I can’t be another day in this situation. I’ve never shared it online, since I don’t like to talk about it at all, but I do suffer from anxiety and it is definitely making all this much more difficult. I know many other people and friends who are struggling a lot from it as well, so that’s why I say we shouldn’t put too much pressure on ourselves and just take one thing at a time, and definitely stop if your body asks for a break.
What would I be doing right now if this quarantine never happened? I would be happily going out and about around England, since we had a trip planned for Easter, which we sadly had to cancel. It’s kind of frustrating that I looked forward this trip for so long and it got cancelled, but all I can think about is that once this is over we’ll reschedule everything and do it anyway any other time soon.
What am I going to do this upcoming week? I have many uni projects to handle, and also a few meetings and online classes which are always time well spend since I learn and talk to people. Also, let’s not forget how much I like to dress up just for a call (obviously only from head to hips, and then just pijama trousers and slippers). Something else I want to do is finally finish the 4th season on Money Heist on Netflix, which I’m currently watching and I love it (huge recommendation!). And, last but not least, I’m going to plan some more content to shoot indoors and so I can keep posting daily on Instagram.
Do you like this kind of weekly update / more personal posts? Would you like me to talk a bit more about how to deal with anxiety (from my own experience)? What are you going to do this upcoming week? Definitely tell me so in the comments down below and I’ll be glad to read!
