Sophia Ippoliti has been creating and sharing beautiful content on her Instagram page for such a long time and here, you can find her neutral tones, detailed shots, and beautiful lighting.
Briefly describe what you do as a content creator and how it all started?
Everything has started two years ago when I launched my vintage boutique on the web and I shared my vintage clothes and accessories on Instagram. Some brands started to notice me and eventually contacted me for advertising projects. My passion became a real job for me and now I create contents for agencies, brands and restaurants/hotels. As a content creator, I use my communication way and my vision to represent products.
You have recently launched your blog (barely a few days ago). How did you decide to join another platform?
I decided to create a blog to express myself in a different way. You know, on Instagram we can share a lot but maybe with a personal blog, I can also share another part of me and maybe be useful for someone with some tips.
It’s clear to see that you have a really personal way of creating and editing your photos which makes them unique. How did you figure out your own style and aesthetic for all the content you create?
It wasn’t very simple at the beginning. I had to study a lot about editing processes, composition, and, more in general, I had to study better photography. After lots of tries and days spent on the job, I finally found my own style. Of course, I’m still studying in order to improve myself and my works.
We’re going through a period of time where people are being asked to stay at home for their own (and other people’s) safety; this requires a change of routine and way of doing things. How do you stay creative during quarantine?
Personally, I didn’t change a lot of things from my daily routine, I tried and I’m trying to respect a plan every day in order to not make a mess in my life. Yes, I sleep a lot but when I wake up, I enjoy a healthy breakfast, do my beauty routine and start to work or study, because I think that this quarantine could be a great opportunity to learn new things or work at some discarded projects.
How do you think quarantine is affecting the content creator community?
I think that as every other work also the Content Creator community is having problems because lots of brands have stopped their campaigns. We need to stay positive and strong. Everything will be over soon and we’ll be back to work again.
There are many people that have always dreamed of starting their own platform (either on Instagram or a blog) but never have because of a lack of time. Do you think this is a good time to get creative and try new things?
Sure! Me first, I dreamed about a personal blog for a long time and during quarantine I’ve finally created it! So, c’mon guys!
Many of us are taking advantage of this time at home to improve our skincare routine. What is the one product you would really recommend?
We all wash our hands so many times a day, so my hands are suffering, and without a good hand cream I couldn’t live. Mine is from Chanel.
And, last but not least: What are the first 3 things you’ll do after quarantine?
Go to my parents’ home, I miss them so much! Go to the thermal baths, walking around Rome.
Have you heard from her before? Any thoughts you would like to share about her interview? Definitely tell me so in the comments down below and I’ll be glad to read!
