When writing the title for this new post I couldn’t believe this is already week six of quarantine. To be honest, I don’t feel like it’s been that long so far but a month and a half is actually such a long time, and there’s still a long way to go. For now, all we know is that quarantine is going to be a thing for at least three weeks more, but I’m sure it’ll be extended for a bit more than that.
What has happened this week?
I’ve been in such a great mood and I couldn’t be happier about it. I am a person with such an ease to have continuous highs and lows, especially when things around are quite crazy or unforeseeable but, for some reason, my mood has been amazing and I’m just making the most out of it. I guess it’s all because I’m slowly getting used to this situation, and I’ve learned to find the middle point between being producing but not pushing myself too much, as well as a balance on screen time and other activities.
I have to say that this week I’ve also been able to value my friends even more than usual because, as I’ve said before on my social media platforms, quarantine really help us realise who we miss the most and really want to have around. I have no words to explain how lucky I am for the friends I have and I can’t wait to see them again. In fact, we’re already planning loads of things for when this is all over and we can finally go out and have fun all together.
On the other hand, online uni lessons are a bit more structured (they’ve been a complete mess until now) and the amount of projects is a bit more cohesive. I know I’m not the only one who has been dealing with crazy amounts of work to do because teachers didn’t know how to react to this new situation but just giving us loads of tasks to do.
And, last but not least, I’ve been playing the guitar quite a lot. For those who don’t know, I used to play the guitar as a kid/teenager for several years but one day I just decided to give up and completely abandon it. I’m really happy I gave it another chance and I spend some time on the afternoons playing and singing. I know I’m not the best at it (and I’m not trying to be) but I find it really relaxing and entertaining.
What’s happening next week?
I have absolutely no idea. That’s it. I feel like these days we just go where the wind blows and do what we fancy doing at the moment instead of planning things on advantage because, as it’s been proved, planning right now is not the best choice since things never work as predicted.
The one thing I know that will happen and that I’m pretty excited about is that I’m going to post my very first styling video with some really cute spring outfits I’ll be wearing once the quarantine is over. I’ve always wanted to do some video content like this and now that I have a bit more of time, why not giving it a try?
And, last but not least, I hope you are all safe and healthy. I really appreciate the lovely feedback on these “venting” weekly posts and it’s definitely something I’ll continue doing for a while since I really annoy it and I love interacting and knowing a bit more about you in the comments.
What have you been up to this week? Anything exciting in mind for next week? Definitely tell me so in the comments down below and I’ll be glad to read!
Love, lipstick and stay safe ❤
