I really like looking for house decor inspiration in magazines and on Pinterest. I get so many ideas of how I could decorate my room and make it look much more elegant. I have too many ideas I want to try, but my budget is definitely not that high. That’s why I always have to look for budget-friendly shops and brands that sell super cute pieces and items to do a room makeover without having to break the bank.

Lately, I’ve been really into french style, minimalism, and a huge artistic vibe. I follow so many great artists on Instagram whose paintings are too beautiful. I’ve been visiting several art galleries because I fall in love with every single piece I see. I know that I can’t afford all those pieces and paintings, but I get so much inspiration from that.

Now it’s time to try to recreate those pictures I’ve seen, pinned, or saved. My favorite places to shop for beautiful and affordable room decor are Zara Home and H&M Home, for sure. They have so many pretty items, which you can use for whatever you want. For example, I bought a gold plate to put all my rings on. Looks amazing and it was super affordable. Another example could be the porcelain mugs I use to keep my makeup brushes. Also, you can go and look for decoration items at vintage shops. At first, you may see too many pieces that you don’t like, but I swear there are real treasures in this kind of shops.

But today I’m not going to talk about that kind of decor items. I’m going to talk about how I actually turned my room into the art gallery I wanted it to look like, for just a little amount of money.

I’ve been over the moon with a brand called Desenio. They have loads and loads of high-quality posters and super affordable. You can find whatever you’re looking for, from minimalistic prints to more baroque ones. I was looking for minimalistic posters, black and white, with a single line representing a body or a face. Guess what, I found exactly what I was looking for. Also, I got the frames for them on their site too. Gold, of course.

Everything came so perfectly packed, to prevent any damage. I put the posters in their frames and tried my best to hang them equally on the wall. As you can see in the photos down below it looks so clean and artistic, just what I was looking for. I swear I can spend hours contemplating this wall. It really looks like a wall from an art gallery, but all this was under 100€.

The code “thegoldlipstick” gives you 25% discount on posters*, between 14th to 16th August. Follow @desenio and get inspired! *The code is not valid on frames and “handpicked/collaboration” posters.

Have you ever heard about Desenio? Are you planning a room makeover? Definitely tell me so in the comments down below and I’ll be glad to read!
